ABSTRACT
Measurement of surface tension for oilfield surfactants is a routine task for petroleum engineers. The majority of enhanced oil recovery methods can’t be implemented without the knowledge about the surface tension value. That’s why accuracy and simplicity of such tests may cause significant effect for certain technologies. In this article a new instrument for precise surface tension measurement is described.
