ABSTRACT
Cancer is an outrageous disease and has a great concern in the global population. Scientists, Researchers, and Physicians discover various drugs which give hopes to the victims. On this note, herbal medicine leads ahead in treating chronic diseases. Herbal medicines are traditionally used in worldwide. According to WHO, most of the developed countries adopted the traditional system of herbal medicines. According to the survey, the data revealed that herbal medicines proved to be an elixir even for those in chemotherapy with minimal and nontoxic antitumor effect in contrast to the standard tumor therapy. The present review is to highlight on those antitumor bioactive compounds which are cytotoxic and apoptosis effect on tumor cells.
