ABSTRACT

This paper presents a robust controller approach for a piezoelectric energy harvester (PEH) using a synchronized switch harvester on inductor (SSHI) for making it more efficient with low power dissipation. For controller design, a lead compensator method has been employed to make system stable by finding its gain margin and phase margin. A robust control method gives global stability due to uncertainty by changing the component’s parameter of the model and obtains a stable output voltage of 4.4 V of having very low input voltage of 0.2 V from piezoelectric sensor.
