ABSTRACT

With the development of traffic, the problem of increasingly overloaded bridge structure is becoming more and more serious. This requires that not only the conventional safety issues of the bridge but also the actual safety performance of the structure should be considered during design and construction. In order to study the stability and bearing capacity of the cable-stayed bridge with double-sided girder, the finite element model was generated using ANSYS software. Firstly, the elastic stability analysis was carried out in construction and operation stages. Secondly, after finding the weakness of the structure, the nonlinear stability analysis was carried out on the tower column. Finally, based on the analysis results, it is concluded that the Nansi Lake Bridge has reliable stability and safe bearing capacity.
