ABSTRACT
EN15129:2009 “Anti-seismic Devices” is a worldwide recognized product standard regarding devices used for the seismic protection of civil structures and industrial plants. Soon after the first issue, its use spread beyond the boundaries of the European Union and its recommendations were taken into consideration by countries wishing to establish their own national code. The paper aims at presenting the full-scale testing as a part of the Factory Production Control activities required to verify the conformity of the production. A discussion regarding the sampling frequency with reference to different product technologies is provided.
