ABSTRACT
Bridge engineering has always played an important role in transportation. How to guarantee the construction progress on the basis of ensuring the quality and safety of bridge engineering construction has become the focus of the current industry. Firstly, the application and development of BIM Technology and the research progress of bridge construction application at home and abroad are introduced. Based on the theoretical framework of BIM virtual construction technology, giving full play to its advantages of digital analog unity and dynamic integration, the virtual construction software is used to carry out simulation construction for each process of L bridge construction project, and the simulation results are combined with the bridge construction management, so as to provide support and guarantee for the progress, cost, quality and safety of the bridge project.
