ABSTRACT

This conference report discusses the generation of a HBIM model for heritage information management, oriented to the preventive conservation of cultural interest assets, in this case, the renaissance quadrant façade of the Cathedral of Seville. The graphics elements of the model and its information parameters have been defined considering the methodology of work used by the company in charge of its preventive conservation, Artyco S.L., in order to enhance its regular controlling and monitoring activities on cultural assets. The research take part in the actions referred in the Project HAR2016-78113-R, supported by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities I+D+i Plan. The company in charge of the building conservation is evaluating the results considering its suitability and viability for future applications. Furthermore, the results have been added to the experimental actions referred in the project mentioned, to be considered in its final general conclusions by the research team.
