ABSTRACT
Arable crops are complex ecological systems and consequently a blueprint for their management using an integrated approach cannot be applied universally. Each farm, crop, and even each field must be considered separately based upon the previous history, current crop monitoring, and the farmers’ individual objectives. There are, however, some broad principles that apply.
