ABSTRACT

Many surgeons have performed labia minora reduction techniques in the past. This method could also be considered a hybrid technique of labia minora reduction. Vascular and nerve-sparing surgery is the primary goal of this method. Cosmetic patients seeking personal or social benefits such as confidence and acceptance must be completely healthy. Before any surgical procedure is performed, informed consent needs to be obtained, and It should be signed just before surgery. All margins of the future incisions need to be determined and marked in the shape of a triangle on both sides of the labia. The “one-cut technique” involves the simultaneous excision of the mucus and skin of the labia minora, leaving nervation and vascularization intact. Statistically, the complication rate among patients after all plastic surgery is 21% among patients who underwent coordinated procedures compared with 5% in patients who had sequential procedures.
