ABSTRACT
Predominantly bioethanol and biodiesel are the main types of biofuels that are the substitutes to patrol and diesel, respectively. Globally, the United States and the European Union are the leading countries in biofuel production. The biofuel production is based on grain, cellulose, and vegetable oils. This chapter gives an account of biofuel production and its utilization pattern with projection.
