ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we give a brief description of the grey wolf optimization algorithm (GWO) and its modifications. Then we test it on five engineering optimization problems. We modify the standard GWO by invoking for chaotic maps. The modified GWO algorithm is called Chaotic Grey Wolf Optimization (CGWO) algorithm. Finally, we solve five engineering optimization problems by CGWO algorithm. Also, we verify the efficiency of the proposed algorithm by comparing it with the standard GWO.
