ABSTRACT
As a result of a reliability analysis done for the “Red de Expresos Regionales – RER” project in Buenos Aires, permanent or secondary lining of tunnel models built under the New Austrian Tunneling Method have shown to be very sensitive to Young’s modulus for small deformations and lateral earth pressure at rest coefficient. Results from this analysis are shown, as well as an experimental program implemented in some of the project’s most critical sections
