ABSTRACT
New fully prefabricated technology of metro station is first researched in china to reduce resources consumption, shorten the construction period and decrease environmental impacts for large-scale metro construction. For now, five metro stations have been built in Changchun, northeast of China. This paper introduces the application status of prefabricated technology in underground engineering in the whole world, and tells the different characteristics of prefabricated technology applied to above-ground buildings and underground engineering. In addition, combined with the first successful application of new prefabricated technology in metro station, this paper further conducts a thorough analysis and discussion on the key points of new prefabricated technology for large underground structure. And economic and social benefits achieved are discussed at last.
