ABSTRACT

The Geotechnical Monitoring of the Forrestfield Airport Link started at the end of 2016 before the construction of the new rail service (with two underground tunnels) 8.5 km long from the existing Midland Line to the eastern suburbs of Forrestfield – with three new stations at Redcliffe, Airport Central and Forrestfield. The most of the instruments are in-stalled underneath or in proximity of very sensitive buildings and sites, being in an airport area, with nearly real time system for monitoring data with wireless technology combined with telemetry. All the monitoring data are available on web base MIMS (Monitoring In-formation Management System)
