ABSTRACT
Recently, in mountain tunnels in service on expressway, heaving has occurred in specific areas, and various investigations for deformation and countermeasures by invert have been performed. Several past countermeasures for heaving have been reported on mountain tunnel, but from investigations and the long-term monitoring results, quantitatively research are few that analyzed behavior at the time of transformation and the cause of transformation and effect of countermeasures. The authors clarified by long-term monitoring the heaving behavior of the mountain tunnel of Expressway and the effect of countermeasures, and have reflected them in the design of countermeasures.
