ABSTRACT

In the contribution, significant aspects are summarized, which show the advantages of carbon concrete and promote the introduction of carbon reinforced concrete (CRC) structures. The realistic modelling of structures is essential for their numerical simulations and is mainly characterized by the mechanical model and the consideration of the available data at hand by an adequate uncertainty model. The focus is on descriptions of improved numerical simulations, consideration of uncertain data with current methods and development of a novel technical information system (TIS). In the paper, it is also informed about the development of a Technical Information System for C3 (TISC3) into a holistic system, which intelligently combines carbon concrete-specific measurement data management (MDM) and process chain-controlled simulation data management (SDM) with meta-information management (MIM).
