ABSTRACT

This study describes the practice of diversity within student organizations. Various cultures, religions, and differences become part of the dynamics of the organization. Justice is related to the right of every student to get equality. Who is more tolerant between students with cultural/religious minorities or the majority. This study is a qualitative research by observing and seeing the involvement of students from various tribes, cultures, religions, and races joined in student organizations. The results of this study found that within the student organization, understanding between cultures, religions, and awareness of differences became the basis of communication and interaction to move the wheel of the organization. Unconsciously, the majority often see things from their point of view. They do not realize that sometimes there are neglected minority rights with the proposition of quantity. Minorities are always fewer and will always lose when the number becomes decisive. Interestingly, the minority is aware of their "number" and understand of what happened to them. Minorities tend to be balances and creators of harmony amid the loss of rights to equality. Tolerance became the ideal word that always echoed the majority but instead practiced by minorities.
