ABSTRACT

This chapter is devoted to the study of physicochemical characteristics of carbonized apricot kernels in the processes of sorption and desorption of biomolecules. It investigates the molecular sieve characteristics of protein-lipid complexes, adsorption chromatography of the biostimulator, sorption and desorption of such toxins as pesticides and cytokine on a nanostructured porous sorbent. Chromatography the method for separation and analysis of mixtures is based on different distribution of their components between two phases: fixed and mobile. At sorption of toxic substances by carbon sorbent with hydrophobic surface, the physical adsorption is conditioned by the action of dispersion forces is a main mechanism of detoxification. Detoxification is a complex of biochemical biophysical organism responses is aimed at preserving the chemical homeostasis, is provided by cooperative function of several systems of natural detoxification. The study of physico-chemical properties of “Nanocarbosorb”, obtained by the carbonization of apricot stones for the sorption of various biological active substances, may have great scientific and practical importance.
