ABSTRACT

The aim of this study was to identify and understand the level of employee engagement in a news media company, Bisnis Indonesia, by analyzing its organizational commitment and the job satisfaction levels of its employees. This project was used by its Human Resource (HR) department to design its future plan to better improve organizational commitment and job satisfaction. A model of employee engagement measurement was then developed and the questionnaires distributed. Based on the analysis using the GML performance benchmark method, the study found that the engagement level of the employees in Bisnis Indonesia was considered high. On the other hand, the company needs to consider improving the satisfaction level in order to retain and develop its best employees.
