ABSTRACT

This study aims to identify the intention to use information technology systems for hospital employees in Solo. The acceptance model encourages the formation of individual behavioral intention in the use of information systems (Davis, 1989). In this study, there were added social influence and facilitating conditions as an implementation variable which refers to the model of Unified Theory of acceptance and Use of Technology (Venkatesh et al., 2003). The number of samples in this study was 420 and used structural equation modeling (SEM). The results indicated that perceived usefulness, social influence, and facilitating conditions affect attitude to use information technology systems. Attitudes change a person’s intentions to use information technology systems. This study indicates the critical role of attitude when evaluating the actual use of information technology systems.
