ABSTRACT

Teachers have a significant role in creating child-friendly schools by providing a pleasant environment free from pressure or acts of violence. A safe and comfortable environment can be created if the teacher performs his role well. One of the abilities teachers should possess is the skill to communicate. This ability becomes very important because it can help children express their ideas and feelings, stimulate children to respect their friends and bridge various conflicts that arise in various activities. The ability of teachers to communicate with students is expected to help create a child-friendly school. This study intends to reveal more about the ability of teachers to communicate to create child-friendly schools through appropriate literature searches. This study provides a reference for teachers and early childhood education (ECE) institutions to create friendly schools through effective communication.
