The perspectives of kindergarten teachers on the demands of teacher professionalism in rural areas

This research was motivated by certain unjust and unsubstantiated criticism toward teachers in Indonesia stating that many teachers are allegedly less qualified and professional all without seeing actual condition of teachers while holding those educational demands. Motivated by these occurrences, the researchers were interested in exploring teachers’ perspective on professionalism demands in a certain rural and remote area.
