ABSTRACT

Bamboo fiber strength the effect of deformation performance of cement mortar. In this studied, selected the length of 20 mm bamboo fiber as the research object, and chose different content of bamboo fiber, studied its effects on dry shrinkage performance, discussed pore size distribution characteristics of the bamboo fiber reinforced cement mortar and its effect on macro performance, scanning electron microscope (SEM) and energy spectrum (EPS) used to characterization of the microstructure. The results showed that with the continuous increase content of bamboo fiber, the dry shrinkage rate decrease first and then increase. When the bamboo fiber content increases to 1.5 kg/m3, its performance improved the best and the number of gel holes was the lowest. The results of SEM and EPS showed that the modified bamboo fiber had a circular cross section and the transition zone between fiber and matrix was compacted.
