ABSTRACT
A 15-year-old comes to the emergency department with swelling and drainage from her neck. There has been swelling on both sides of her lower neck for the past 3 months. She has had a poor appetite for one month and has been feeling warm for the past week. Her neck swelling has increased during the week and there was drainage from the left side of her neck today. She has not been living with her family and has been homeless, living in a shelter for the past year.
