ABSTRACT
A 7-year-old girl presents with a neck mass. Her mother reports that the swelling has increased over the last several days and is warm, red, and now oozing from the center. On exam, the patient has a tender, fluctuant mass of the midline neck, and a small amount of pus is able to be expressed.
