ABSTRACT

A previously healthy 3-year-old male presents to the emergency department with progressive shortness of breath, cough, and ankle swelling. He was diagnosed by his primary medical doctor 1 week ago with an upper respiratory infection and was started on antibiotics after an urgent care visit 3 days ago. A chest radiograph shows an enlarged cardiothymic silhouette with pulmonary congestion. The ECG is shown.
