ABSTRACT
A 5-year-old girl presents with a rash to the lower extremities and buttocks, as well as colicky abdominal pain. She is afebrile and you note palpable purpura to pressure-dependent areas of the body. When she does not have abdominal pain, she is comfortable and interactive. She recently had an upper respiratory tract infection.
