ABSTRACT
A 14-year-old boy with no significant past medical history presents with a splinter to his left third and fourth fingers sustained while helping his father move some wood in the backyard. He has no other injuries and his immunizations are up to date. His exam demonstrates a visible foreign body in both fingers. He is neurovascularly intact distally.
