ABSTRACT
This chapter presents a brief survey of the state-of-the-art watermarking techniques for tele-health applications. The basic concepts of digital watermarking techniques, major characteristics of the watermarks, recent applications, important spatial and transform domain techniques, various vital performance parameters and watermarking attacks are also discussed in this chapter. Then, a detailed review of existing medical image watermarking techniques along with their potential issues and solutions is provided. Finally, the performance summary of the various state-of-art watermarking techniques is presented in tabular format.
