ABSTRACT
The Toolbox Dialogue Initiative (TDI) has collected a wealth of data during more than a decade of studying and facilitating cross-disciplinary communication, including a large number of audio files and transcripts from the dialogue portion of Toolbox workshops. This book would not be complete without a discussion of these qualitative data. Building on the quantitative evidence of effectiveness provided in Chapter 9, this chapter presents excerpts of Toolbox dialogue that illustrate how dialogue can enable teams to build mutual understanding, which can then lead to integration.
