This chapter presents eight case studies of Toolbox workshops. The goal is to give the reader a sense of the wide variety of groups TDI has assisted through its activities. This chapter gives a broad sense of what TDI has to offer to groups and teams. The chapter describes work with graduate students, large-scale research teams, small-scale communities, non-research organizations embedded in larger institutional contexts, and non-governmental organizations. It explains how we prepare for workshops, what happens in workshops, what we discover after running workshops, and how participants respond to the TDI experience.
