ABSTRACT

Recruitment is trepidation with feat out, magnetizing, and guarantying a supply of competent personnel and selecting of mandatory manpower mutually in their quantitative and qualitative aspect. Mainly it is the maintenance and development of sufficient man-power resources. According to KPMG, overall attrition rate in India is 13.5%. The highest attrition was reported by Retail sector with ecommerce being on the higher side with an average voluntary annual attrition of 18.5 percent which shows that attrition is one of the most burning issue and creating problem for businessmen. In the same way, situation is also going to be alarming for recruitment experts and there are various changes which are emerging in recruitment area which are going to play an vital role in recruitment and having knowledge of these changes will be beneficial for both segment i.e potential employee and recruiters (employers). Through reviewing methodology, the study found that traditional methods of recruitments are obsolescing and recruiters and employees are adopting modern recruitment methods. In 2018, According to Mettl Survey, the usages of social media in hiring people through social media was 25% more and this trend will be highly used in near future. The study, through exploratory research method, tried to explore all such emerging areas/trends which are going to be helpful for both.
