ABSTRACT
The main aim of this project is to characterize the performance of different types of commercial solar panels in terms of the meteorological parameters. The approach to this validation is a comprehensive scheme where solar panel performance is monitored and with a mathematical modelling the effect of the various parameters is calculated thus enabling us to verify the panel in real field conditions. The project required coding of the MPPT charger and creating a LabVIEW GUI to interface the charger, apply the mathematical modelling and display the results.
