ABSTRACT
Dementia is emerging as a global health issue which is the most common occurring disease in the people who are 65 years or above in age. The early detection of dementia and the detection of mild cognitive impairment converting to Alzheimer’s disease prove to be very helpful to the society. The objective of this paper is to present various studies detecting dementia using machine learning techniques. A systematic literature review has been carried out which includes 47 papers considering different databases and different techniques implementing machine learning used for detecting dementia. ADNI data is commonly used in various studies.
