ABSTRACT
In this paper, we proposed an IoT enabled intelligent transportation system (ITS) consists of information and communication technologies that can be applied to existing transportation system in India to make transport system smart, reliable and safe. The proposed system consists of three sub systems: the sensor system, monitoring system and display system. We also developed our prototype which can serve as a benchmark to build ITS. The results shows that the model efficiently work in bus scheduling, limiting traffic congestion and reduce waiting time of the passengers.
