ABSTRACT

This article substantiates the necessity of a sustainable development potential of printing companies in the digital economy environment. A methodology for assessing the sustainable development level of companies, which was tested on a group of printing companies demonstrating their potential for sustainable development, has been suggested. The methodology developed for identifying steady enterprises with a sustainable development potential was tested based on the balance sheet data of printing companies. The methodology suggested for analyzing and evaluating the level of the company’s sustainable development potential allows identification of stable enterprises with high chances for providing effective operations in the business environment characterized by dynamic technological changes. It was revealed that for the transition to sustainable development, the printing industry enterprises should achieve high resource potential indicators.The results of this study may lay the foundation for further studies of urgent issues related to the analysis and evaluation of a sustainable development potential of printing companies.
