ABSTRACT

This research is focused on the establishment of the digital economy in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) states as an objectively conditioned process of forming a common digital space of the integration association. The research shows that legislative solutions adopted in the EAEU are aimed at enhancing the use of the integration association’s digital technologies in general. This being the case, it was made clear that national strategies in the field of member states’ economy digital transformation demonstrate diverse vectors involving the existing dominance of national interests over the supranational, but institutions and tools for creation of a common digital space (CDS) of the EAEU are being formed. A comparative analysis of world rankings of development of information and communication technologies in the EAEU allows coming to a conclusion that establishment of the integration association’s digital space goes faster than the establishment of a common economic space as the dynamics of development of the digital economy sphere of the member states exceeds the world average level.
