ABSTRACT

Preimplantation genetic testing (PGT) has already passed what has been labeled Version 1.0 (fluorescence in situ hybridization [FISH], polar body, and cleavage-stage biopsy era). Our current version 2.0 constitutes 24-chromosome testing, next-generation sequencing (NGS), and trophectoderm biopsy. Yet this too will change. Our current practice will not remain static. What, then, can we expect going forward?
