ABSTRACT

Visible Light Positioning (VLP) has drawn more and more attention in recent years. In this paper, a novel three-dimensional indoor positioning algorithm is proposed, which is suitable for both the small and large scene. Then, the position of the terminal can be estimated based on the Received Signal Strength Indication (RSSI), a three-dimensional positioning algorithm which combines the Minimum Triangle (MT) method and Weighted Centroid (WC) method (MT-WC-RSSI). The simulation results show that the proposed positioning algorithm has an average positioning error of about 4.11 cm and an average height error of about 1.78 cm.
