ABSTRACT

The chapter considers the features of the within-field variation of soil fertility agrochemical indices. It is shown that the spatial distribution of within-field areas with different levels of soil fertility is characterized by certain statistical patterns that have a certain effect on the efficiency of mineral fertilizers used to increase crop yields. A description is given of various methods for revealing the within-field heterogeneity of soil fertility and how it is taken into account for the differentiated agrochemical application.
