ABSTRACT
The goal of this chapter is return to the conclusions of Bowers, Oser, Salas, and Cannon-Bowers (1996) and examine which questions have since been answered and which remain to be addressed. This approach is believed to be the best means of summarizing both past and present concerns and of identifying the best avenues for future research efforts.
