ABSTRACT

The represented data is an observational study of two sites for dry stacking of phosphogypsum which are Apatit JSC, Balakovsky subdivision and Voskresensk Mineral Fertilizers JSC, disposal site 2. The observation was carried out in relation to specific of geotechnical formation, hydrogeologycal structure and physical-mechanical properties of industrial mass stacks of phosphogypsum depending on its types. Based on geodesic monitoring, form alteration development on stacks were found which influence the effectiveness and safety issues of phosphogypsum technological stockpiling processes. The obtained geomachanical results were used for determination of stable parameters on deposition sites stated above during the stockpiling process as well as estimation of storage capacity at maximum height up to 100–120 meters.
