ABSTRACT

Issues of improving of basic level of theoretical and practical training of mining professions due to development and implementation of the qualification program in identifying hazards and risks associated with the loss of stability of rock mass are considered in the article. Workers’ understanding of hazards and risks associated with the loss of stability of rock mass was estimated during the conducted study. For determining the rock mass stability in industrial conditions, geomechanical map for estimation of risks for mining engineering and mining professions is developed and implemented. In implementation of the qualification program, a number of the training sessions was carried out for the company employees that allowed to form the basic perception of estimation of the stability of rock mass. It makes possible to prevent a development of unfavorable accidents at the stage of production. The program is presented in a module form split into five parts. Each module includes certain subsections that are involved in the training program implementation. The development of the qualification program is of significant importance because it is targeted to increasing the level of mining security in a production environment, which is a priority for the company.
