ABSTRACT

The findings of a study about stress-stain state changes of the rock ore around polygonal shape chambers during the chamber-and-pillar with filling development of Yakovlevsky Deposit reserves of rich iron ore are outlined. The numerical elastoplastic model of ore and backfilling is constructed and the trends of limit state zone formation around excavations for various ore types are revealed. The use of the reinforcing roof bolting for friable ore to ensure the stability of mine workings is justified and recommendations at the election of rational parameters of the lining are elaborated.
