ABSTRACT

Due to the increasing complexity of satellite systems, the disadvantages of the traditional Text-based System Engineering (TSE) method are becoming notable, such as non-unification of data sources, limited descriptive ability, development processes subject to breakpoint management, and so on. In this paper, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) has been used to solve the problems existing in present satellite development systems. An overall satellite model structure derived from MBSE has been generated according to the requirements analysis of different satellite development stages.
