ABSTRACT

Traditional IT systems are focused on statistical analyzes and forecasts based on results, decisions are made as a result of the following: “from what was, it results what will be”. A more advanced forecasting formula, known as “requirement planning”, follows the principle of “what is, what follows what can happen in the future”. The IT system, based on a set of information from today, simulates various scenarios (Handfield & Nichols 2000). There are many various planning processes, the example see Figure 1.
