ABSTRACT

There are the properties of abundance, simply adjusted molecular structure, diversification of the film forming process and the lowprice of organic semiconductor materials, so that the organic electronic device has a certain advantage in development. Phthalocyanine dye is one of the most promising materials that has so far been prepared for optoelectronic devices; it can be fabricated into optical recording devices, gas sensors and solar cells with good optoelectronic properties, excellent film growth characteristics and chemical stability. Phthalocyanine dye is purified simply, and it is used in preparing high purity film without decomposition. We mainly study the static characteristics and current transmission mechanism of CuPc thin film transistors in vertical structures in this paper (Jiti et al., 2010).
