ABSTRACT

This research uses an ARM920T processor as the hardware platform, on which the Windows CE .NET operating system is installed and is responsible for the overall scheduling and control system. The ARM920T is connected through a Universal Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter (UART) interface to the GPS receiver, which is used for determining the positioning information that is required for display. Then, by matching with the loaded map, a map of the area in which the vehicle is currently situated is displayed by LCD.
