1.3 Sand
A good grading of sand was selected with a maximum particle size of not more than 5mm.
1.4 Grinding aid component
Several organic compounds that appeared most often in the hydroxyl grinding aids were: AR products of ethylene glycol; propylene glycol; diethylene glycol; and glycerine. Four hydroxy compounds from SinopharmChemical Reagent Company Limited were selected as grinding aids.
