ABSTRACT

In recent years, the problem of guaranteed cost control on uncertain linear systems is one of the most active subjects in control filed. Considerable attention has been focused on the stability analysis of uncertain time-delay systems. As we all know, time-delay as well as parameter uncertainties is frequently a cause of instability and performance degradation and occurs in manydynamic systems (Fridman2010). It also designs a control system which is not only stable but can also guarantee an adequate level of performance (Fridman 2006). The design method on a guarantee cost was first proposed by Chang and Peng, where the objective is to design the controller so that the performance index is no larger than a given bound for all admissible uncertainties (Fan &Wu 2011). Based on the idea, many significant results have been obtained for the continuous-time case (Hu et al. 2003) and the discretetime case (Yu & Gao 2001). However, there have been few results (Liu et al. 2008) in the literature for the robust guaranteed cost sampled-data control based on LMI technique (Hao & Zhang 2011). It is still open and remains challenging. It motivates the research of the paper.
